Who Launched Netannaku Bharosa Scheme?
On Tuesday, Tummala Nageswara Rao released guidelines for the implementation of the scheme. He also declared that this scheme was a part of the broader Telangana Chenetha Abhayahastham programme announced by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for the welfare and empowerment of handloom weavers.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Netannaku Bharosa Scheme, applicant needs to meet the following eligibility criteria’s these are as follows:-

- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Telangana.
- Both allied and handloom workers are eligible to apply.
- Workers operating geo-tagged looms and those engaged in allied tasks (like dying, tying, designing, warping, winding, sizing) are eligible if atleast 50 percent of their income is from handloom work.
Financial Benefits
- Under this scheme, each eligible handloom worker will get Rs 9,000 per installment; on the other hand, allied workers will receive Rs 3,000. Even if a worker doesn’t meet the 50 per cent weaving threshold in the first half of the year, but fulfills it in the second half, they will still receive the full annual incentive.
