What is Telangana Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam?
Telangana state government launched the scheme to encourage inter-caste marriages among the citizens of Telangana. The Telangana state government will provide almost 1 lakh financial assistance to all citizens selected under the Telangana Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam. All permanent residents of Telangana state who have crossed the age of 18 are eligible to avail of the Telangana Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam benefits. With this scheme’s help, Telangana state citizens can get married without worrying about financial troubles. The financial assistance will be transferred to the bride’s mother’s bank account by the Telangana State Authority.

Eligibility Criteria
- The applicants must be permanent residents of the state of Telangana.
- The applicant must be above the age of 18 years.
- The annual income of the applicant’s family, which belongs to the SC, ST, or OBC category, must not exceed INR 2 lakh.
- The annual income of the applicants who belong to the BC or OBC category but live in rural areas must not exceed INR 1.5 Lakh.
