Chief Minister M K Stalin introduced a Tamil Nadu Vetri Nichayam Scheme in Tamil Nadu, the Vetri Nichayam (sure success) scheme, on Tuesday during the third anniversary celebrations of the Naan Mudhalvan scheme. The program’s goal is to give unemployed youngsters between the ages of 18 and 35 free short-term skill training. For the first phase, which aims to train 75,000 youth in the upcoming year in partnership with leading training institutions and businesses to assist them in finding employment, the state government has set aside Rs 100 crore. Through 165 courses and more than 500 training facilities, the program will provide skill training in 38 industrial areas. For the program, a specialised smartphone software called Skill Wallet has been released to assist young people in finding information about job openings and training courses.
