Eligibility Criteria
- The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council’s 2024 higher secondary final exam must be passed by the students.
- Female pupils must receive at least 60% of the possible points.
- Male students are required to receive at least 75% of the possible points.
- The program is not available to students in the improvement and reappearance category.
- Additionally, dropout students are not eligible for the program.
- The pupils have to be Assam state residents on a permanent basis.
- After 10 + 2, students must continue their education.

Selection or Distribution Process
- The Senior Secondary Education Council of the Assam State Government will first compile a list of students.
- The Director of Higher Education will then notify a list of consignee principals to enable the easy distribution of a Scooty to qualified beneficiaries when the list of beneficiaries has been submitted to the official portal.
- From the concerned school principle, the qualified student can pick up the certificate of appreciation and turn it in to the designated dealer.
- The consignee main would get the cash for scooter insurance and registration from the Assam state government. The money would be released to the concerned dealer by the principle following a thorough verification of the benefit information.
- When students pick up their scooty, they must remember that they did not have to pay the dealer any money for registration or insurance.
- The legal guardians may or may not decide to pick up the scooter in the event of the student’s untimely death.
- The Nijut Moina plan is not open to recipients of the Dr. Bani Kanta Kakati Merit Award under the Pragran Bharati plan.
- A girl recipient may, however, apply for the Nijut Moina Scheme if she chooses not to get the scooter.
