To be eligible for CM Kisan Yojana applicant must have to meet the following eligibility criterias these are as follows:-
- Applicants must be a permanent resident of Odisha.
- Applicants must be farmers by profession.
- Applicants who think that they are only dependent on agriculture and farming is their main activity are eligible for the scheme.
- Small and marginal farmers of both rural and urban areas are eligible for the scheme.

Financial Benefits
- Under this CM Kisan eligible small and marginal farmers from both rural and urban areas will receive financial assistance of Rs 4,000 per annum for two cropping seasons directly into their bank accounts.
Ineligibility Under CM Kisan
- Applicants less than 18 years of age are ineligible.
- Medium/Large farmers are not able to apply.
- Multiple members from one family are ineligible.
- The farmer or his /her spouse /family member an income tax payee /Government/PSU sector employee/other agency including retired staff/pensioners
- Death case.
- Former and present holders of constitutional posts, former and present Ministers / State Ministers and former/present Members of Lok Sabha / Rajya Sabha / State Legislative Assemblies /State Legislative Councils, former and present Mayors of Municipal Corporations, former and present Chairpersons of District Panchayats.
- Professionals like Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, and Architects registered with any Professional bodies are ineligible to apply.
- Farmers not having valid ration cards are ineligible.
- Applicants enrolled in any other government scheme are unable to apply for the same.
- Applicants who don’t have their own bank account are needed with an Aadhar card.
