Payment Released Under 20th Installment
- On Saturday, August 02, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana’s 20th instalment, with a promised disbursement of Rs 2,000 to each of the accounts of all eligible farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
- As per the latest trends, under this scheme, as of now, around 20,500 crore was transferred successfully directly into the bank accounts of 9.7 crore farmers across the nation.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for PM Kisan, applicant must have to meet the following eligibility criteria’s these are as follows:-
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of India.
- Applicant must be a farmer by profession.
- Applicant must have their land for performing farming duties.
- Applicant must have their bank account linked with an Aadhar card.
- Applicant must not be a taxpayer.
- Applicant must not be enrolled in any of the professional occupations such as Doctor, Engineer, Law, CA, etc.
Financial Benefits
Under this scheme government provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per annum in the form of three installments of Rs 2,000 every four months directly into the bank accounts of deserving farmers.
