All the members of a particular family will be covered under one Swasth Sathi Card including people suffering from any physical disability. All the predefined diseases are covered under the scheme. The premium and all the costs of the treatments will be covered by the state government rather than the beneficiaries. Health records will be automatically updated on the card as soon as the people are discharged from the hospital.

Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
- The applicant must not be enrolled under any other government health insurance scheme.
- The health cards shall be issued in the name of the eldest female member of the family.
- The applicant family will comprise the beneficiary, the spouse, parents of both spouses, sons of up to 18 years of age, and unmarried daughters of up to 21 years of age.
- No age limit is applicable to the dependent physically challenged member.
